Changes are afoot with the Courts.  The MOJ has made a proposal to close 51 courts and tribunals across England and Wales, and the Government has confirmed that it is consulting in respect of closing approximately 1/5 of the Courts Estate.

Surely this can only mean that even further delays in hearings can be expected moving forward, and in particular Enforcement.

Although the item is still under consultation, a provisional list of potential court closures can be found on the internet.  We are fortunate that we do not deal with the majority of these courts and our efficient service should not be affected.
